A public dedication ceremony for an Indiana state historical marker commemorating Hoosier motorcyclist and racecar driver Erwin “Cannon Ball” Baker is scheduled for Sunday, September 10, 2017. The marker dedication will begin at 1:00 p.m. near 902 E. Garfield Dr., Indianapolis, IN, where Baker lived from 1926 until his death in 1960. Parking for the event will be available along the side streets in the neighborhood and in Garfield Park.
